All conveyor frames are made of steel with a black finish. The track has a zinc- plated finish. The chain supporting the hangers is made of chrome-plated steel. The wheels are mounted on nylon-covered, sealed ball-bearings requiring no lubrication. The chain sections supporting the hangers form a continuous chain and each link, wich theoretically holds up to 10 garments, is 12 inches long (30 cm). Each chain section is supported by an aluminum alloy yoke. |

The rod connecting the chain sections to the pivot has a ½ inch diameter (12.7 mm) to prevent premature wear in the moving parts and ultimately, tears in the bushings. Travel speed is approximately 72 feet/minute (21.94 m/minute) and maximum load is 50 lbs per foot. The driving mechanism consists of a .50 or .75 HP motor and the centrifugal clutch is connected to a belt driven gear reducer. The reducer has a 40:1 ratio. The conical ball bearings supporting the drive shaft are housed in the reducer. The poles are made of galvanized steel with a 2.375 inch (603 mm) outer diameter. The feet are made of a 24 X 5 inch U-shaped steel structure (60 cm X 12.7 cm) on which sleeves have been welded to hold the poles. There is a distance of 27 inches (67 cm) between the two parallel moving tracks. |

The machines come fully wired and ready to assemble to the sector at the worksite. The control circuit has a reversing starter with mechanical and electrical anti-reversing locking mechanism for the motor. The switch and the rest of the control circuit are powered by a low voltage (24 V, Class 2). The motors are equipped with an automatic release in case they overheat. The electrical control circuit is fully certified by CSA International (CSA). The two-way switches are manually activated. The power circuit must have a voltage of 115V or 230V and each conveyor requires a 20 Amp circuit. |

The electronic selector enhances your conveyor's performance and replaces the usual right/left type switch. This equipment allows you to enter one or many section, garment, order or invoice numbers, which automatically starts up the conveyor to bring you the right garment. Also, the selector determines the quickest rotational direction. This means that the clerk may accomplish another task while the conveyor is moving since scanning the passing garments is not necessary. As well, this selector may be easily connected to our cleaning or checkroom computer system. The electronic selector in not included with a standard conveyor and must be ordered seperately. The electronic selectors are connected to a 115 V isolated circuit. The selectors and the conveyor cannot share the same power circuit since the motor's electrical noise hampers operation. |
