| The drive unit is equipped with a driving gear and a support gear made of special steel with a high carbon content to allow them to withstand strong tensions and friction. The drive unit requires an installation space of only 12” high and 18” wide. It is generally installed in a 180° or 90° curve. The advantage of installing it in a curve is that it eliminates the friction that the normal curve could have caused. Designed for chain pulls to 500 lb, the drive unit can run at a top speed of 90'/minute (27.43 m/minute) in both directions. The electric control allows for variable speeds, accelerations and decelerations. | |||
The electric control is CSA
 approved in its entirety.
Themotor unit can easily be connected to a computer or to a programmable controller. |
