| Rotary blockers allow the immobilization of several yokes in one very precise location on the rail such as a work station for example.They are powered by a 1-1/16” (27 mm) diameter pneumatic jack. When the blocker is activated, it releases only one yoke at a time by pivoting 90 degrees. The blocker must be activated once for each yoke that has been immobilized in one location. The photos on the left clearly demonstrate the “before” and “after” states resulting from the activation of the pneumatic cylinder. Rotary blockers are generally installed on gravity rails. | ||
| It is possible to couple a rotary blocker with an anti-run-back. By combining these two types of blockers, it is possible to block a yoke in both directions. This type of system is often used at a work station where the employee needs to work on a piece that is suspended by a yoke that must remain stationary. |
