Multi pass batch sorting means a batch will go through the sorter a few times in order to be completely sorted. A list of garments in the batch to be processed must be transferred to our computer prior to sorting. Garments of the next batch coming out of the tunnel will be temporarily stored in a buffer zone until the previous batch is sorted.
A full sort will be achieved on every batch. Your clients may ask for their own customized sort meaning every batch could be sorted with the combined following criteria:
- By routes, all routes ordered by truck loading location in the garage
AND
- By clients, all clients ordered by truck stops
AND
- By employee's, all employees of a same client can be ordered in accordance to their requirements. For example:
- Client #1 : Employees sorted by locker
- Client #2 : Employees sorted by employee name
- Client #3 : Employees sorted by employee number and department
- etc.
The sorting method can be changed at your convenience and at anytime via Tamer's user friendly interface. There is absolutely no mechanical modification required to change the sorting method.
