Planiform is currently looking for a full-time Accounting Technician to join the team. Planiform is in the midst of tremendous growth and employs over 60 amazing employees!

Planiform was founded 50 years ago and is specialized in designing, manufacturing and installing automated conveyor systems for distribution centers, retail stores and industrial laundromats. Our conveyor systems are often tailor-made according to the needs of our customers. Although Planiform's sales are mainly in the USA and Canada, we also have customers all over the world.

What will your responsibilities be?

  • Perform customer invoicing.
  • Open customer accounts and conduct credit inquiries.
  • Prepare cost compilations to highlight profit margins per order
  • Monitoring of receivables and collection
  • Perform bank reconciliations and accounting for various entries in the general journal.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements.
  • Maintain certain tracking files and analyses.
  • Bookkeeping for management companies.
  • Collaborate in the preparation of year-end files as needed
  • Provide occasional assistance in various special projects
  • Strictly adhere to the quality and control standards set in the performance of all tasks.

What we are looking for:

  • DEC or DEP in accounting
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience
  • Good knowledge of Sage software (an asset)
  • Familiar with an MRP system (an asset)
  • Mastery of the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word and Power Point)
  • Sense of organization, meticulousness, structures and working methods
  • French required (intermediate or advanced level)
  • Autonomy
  • Excellent priority management
  • Be a cheerful person!
