Planiform was founded over 50 years ago. We design, manufacture, and install automated conveyor systems for distribution centres and retail stores. Our conveyor systems are often custom-made based on our clients’ needs. Although Planiform’s sales are primarily in the United States and Canada, we also have clients around the world.

Position Summary

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day execution of marketing activities related to content, social media, trade shows and CRM operations. This role translates strategy into action by producing and publishing content, managing event logistics, processing leads and coordinating daily with the external marketing agency.

Main Responsibilities

Strategy, Marketing Campaigns and Content Production

    • Coordinate with internal and external resources to execute marketing strategies.
    • Collaborate on the design, content and execution of marketing campaigns in partnership with a marketing agency.
    • Design and produce marketing materials, including photos, videos, presentations, documents and brochures.
    • Manage updates to the company’s internal website.
    • Manage the annual content calendar for campaigns and publications.
    • Maintain marketing data and provide reports on marketing initiatives.
    • Maintain customer intelligence in key marketing platforms, including HubSpot.

Social Media and Communications

    • Manage social media accounts and online profiles.
    • Write and publish content for the company’s social media platforms.
    • Manage external communications and collaborate on internal communications intended for employees.

Trade Shows

    • Coordinate registrations, logistics and administrative follow-ups related to trade shows.
    • In collaboration with the sales team, participate in trade shows and coordinate on-site content creation, including photos, videos and live posts.
    • Process leads generated at trade shows and quickly enter them into the CRM.
    • Prepare landing pages and customized materials required for client meetings.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

    • Relevant post-secondary education in marketing, communications or a related field.
    • Minimum of three years of marketing experience.
    • Proficiency with MS Office tools.
    • Experience with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop, graphic design, video editing and familiarity with HubSpot are strong assets.

Desired Skills

    • Bilingualism required, as the role involves working with certain employees, suppliers and subcontractors located outside Quebec.
    • Excellent writing skills in French and English.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines and coordinate various stakeholders.
    • Comfortable with digital tools, content management platforms, CRM systems and common marketing tools.
    • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to work independently.
    • Team spirit, proactivity and ability to thrive in a growing and changing environment.
