Planiform was founded 50 years ago and is specialized in designing, manufacturing and installing automated conveyor systems for distribution centers, retail stores and industrial laundromats. Our conveyor systems are often tailor-made according to the needs of our customers. Although Planiform's sales are mainly in the USA and Canada, we also have customers all over the world.

What will your responsibilities be?
The project manager leads projects successfully and coordinates all stakeholders involved in the project. He manages the impacts of the project, both during its implementation and after its finalization. As a Project Manager at Planiform, your ideas will be listened to and taken into consideration and you will be considered a key player. This is the advantage of working for an SME!
- Plan, control and coordinate the scope, budget and schedule of research and development projects
- Take the decisions to ensure the success of the projects
- Carry out risk management
- Lead technical problem-solving workshops
- Make executive presentations that summarize work progress and explain technical issues
- Communicate with customers and the work team
- Motivate the team
- Monitor, document and update the budget, manage changes and addenda per project
- Monitor the budget through the ERP
- Establish and maintain a climate of trust with the client
- Convey relevant information to other departments
- Establish and update key performance indicators for R&D projects.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or engineering or any relevant experience.
- PMP certification (an asset)
- Minimum of 7 years of experience
- Be proactive and think of all eventualities
- Be a skilled negotiator
- Bilingual, English and French, to be able to communicate with internal and external suppliers and customers located outside Quebec
- Mastery of IT tools (MS Project, Microsoft Office Suite)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with an ERP system
- French required (intermediate or advanced level)
- Leadership and good communication skills
- Can travel outside of Canada without restriction
- Be a cheerful person!
