Our client, Planiform, is looking for an experienced, strategic, and rigorous individual with a focus on customer satisfaction to manage production at its Terrebonne facility and the installation of equipment and solutions at customer sites.

Planiform designs and installs state-of-the-art robotic and automated conveyor systems for international fashion retailers' distribution centres. Driven by innovation, artificial intelligence, and significant investment in R&D, the team is shaping the future of global logistics.

Your main responsibilities

• Develop and support the project management team to meet deadlines, optimize deliverables, and apply best management practices.
• Manage production plant operations efficiently, ensuring safety and quality of work, with the support of the plant supervisor and production planner;
• Ensure customer satisfaction with the installation of equipment and solutions on time and within budget.
• Oversee purchasing to ensure strategic procurement aligned with production and project needs;
• Actively participate in strategic decisions with the president and management team and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).

Occasional travel to the United States. You must be able to travel to this country.

Your skills and abilities

• Bachelor's degree in engineering;
• 6 to 10 years of relevant experience as a project manager and/or director in a manufacturing environment or similar role;
• Fluent in both French and English, both spoken and written;
• Knowledge of ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central);
• Thorough understanding of all aspects of purchasing (including payment terms, importation, customs clearance, HS (Harmonized System), Incoterms, etc.);
• Business-minded, results-oriented, and determined to achieve objectives;
• Strategic thinking, strong negotiation skills, and ability to make decisions in complex situations;
• Motivational leadership with strong interpersonal skills (people-oriented) and ability to lead multidisciplinary teams;
• Ability to work under pressure, solve problems effectively, and lead with confidence;
• Analytical mind and keen sense of planning;
• Ability to develop and maintain business relationships;
• Ability to traverl outside Canada without restriction;
