Our client, Planiform, is looking for an experienced, dynamic, and thorough person to coordinate the manufacturing and assembly of equipment at its Terrebonne plant and its installation at customer sites.
Planiform designs and installs state-of-the-art robotic and automated conveyor systems for international fashion retailers' distribution centres. Driven by innovation, artificial intelligence, and significant investment in R&D, the team is shaping the future of global logistics.
Your main responsibilities
- Coordinate the work of assemblers, mechanics, welders, and installers to optimize equipment manufacturing and delivery while ensuring safety and quality of work;
- Foster a pleasant work environment, welcome and integrate team members, and pitch in when needed;
- Manage and ensure the maintenance and safety of the plant, workspaces, tools, and vehicles;
- Work closely with the director of operations, the production planner, and the buyer on procurement, production flow, and improvements to be made.

Your skills and abilities
- DEC in operations management, production management, administration, or other combinations of training paired with relevant experience;
- 5 to 7 years of experience as a plant supervisor;
- Perfectly bilingual (French and English), both spoken and written;
- Good knowledge of manufacturing processes;
- Knowledge of labor legislation, compliance, and safety regulations (CNESST);
- Knowledge of ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, an asset);
